Club night change

As 5 June is a Bank Holiday, there will be no club that night.
See the schedule for full details of club nights and themes.

Electric night!

Our next club night is Tuesday 24 April, and the theme is Electric Night –duos, trios and more.

Simon (our user-friendly drummer) will be coming along and I’ll bring my bass and amp. There will be amps (and guitars) available to use,so no need to bring all your electric stuff unless you want to. If you don’t have an electric guitar but would like to try one, that won’t be a problem.

If you could bring crib sheets for what you are doing that would help the band or if you could let me know in advance (via email) that would be even better.

Hope to see you there,
Nigel

Steve at The Tower of Song

Steve Soden will be playing a half hour acoustic set at The Tower Of Song (107,Pershore Road South,Birmingham,B30 3JX)
on Sunday 22nd April 9pm-11pm

Free Admission.

New themes

A big thanks to all of you who have suggested themes, in particular John B, Simon C, Roly, Nick &Doug – the schedule has been updated.

Our next club will be Tuesday 13th March, and the theme is Songs That Mention a Country

Cheers, Nigel

Quiz Night –31 January

There is a change of theme for our next club.  January 31st will be Quiz Night where we will spilt into teams of 4 and see if we can answer the cunning questions set by Graham and Simon C.
I don’t think there will be any questions on Justin Bieber, but you never know.
Please be aware that there will be limited performance time this week.

Up and coming themes:
Feb 14 – Love Songs (I don’t don’t just throw this thing together you know)
Feb 28 – Songs With A Key Change (this is re-scheduled from Jan 31)

I am now taking suggestions for themes to take us through spring and into summer 2012. So if you have any new ideas, or would like to revisit one that you particularly liked, please let me know. Thanks to everyone who has already suggested themes.

Cheers
Nigel
