Quiz Night – 31 January

There is a change of theme for our next club. January 31st will be Quiz Night where we will spilt into teams of 4 and see if we can answer the cunning questions set by Graham and Simon C.
I don’t think there will be any questions on Justin Bieber, but you never know.
Please be aware that there will be limited performance time this week.

Up and coming themes:
Feb 14 – Love Songs (I don’t don’t just throw this thing together you know)
Feb 28 – Songs With A Key Change (this is re-scheduled from Jan 31)

I am now taking suggestions for themes to take us through spring and into summer 2012. So if you have any new ideas, or would like to revisit one that you particularly liked, please let me know. Thanks to everyone who has already suggested themes.

Is anyone interested in entering a song writing competition for the older generation? It will be judged by Sir Terry Wogan and Ken Bruce.
The competition is open from July 1 to November 30, 2011.

Summer Songs

These gentlemen are not club members!

Our next club night is Tuesday July 19th and it’s the last one before we break up for the summer. The theme is:
Hawaiian Shirt Night – Summer Songs
An excuse to wear your loudest shirt and also sing a summer song.

Also if you want tickets for our concert at the Dovehouse on Saturday September 24th better bring some money along; they are £6 each.

The club returns on Tuesday, September 13th – the theme is open.
